Following our ‘Great Big Green Week’ at the end of the Autumn Half Term, it has been wonderful to witness the lasting response that issues explored have had.
We were delighted to receive a message from Sophie Haycock’s mum in Year 1, explaining that Sophie regularly litter picks in her local community, following feeling passionate about keeping the planet green!
She said;
“It had a lasting impact on Sophie who has refused to let any piece of letter pass her by since! She also speaks clearly about why litter is bad and the impact it can have to wildlife”.
Well done Sophie and family!
We are all so proud of you here at St Michael’s.
