At St Michaels, we use the Staffordshire Agreed syllabus alongside planning from NATRE into RE pedagogy.
The curriculum is made up from a combination of teachings about Christianity and learning about other Religious Faiths such as Islam and Judaism. Our curriculum map further shows how there is a balance of Old and New testament teaching within Christianity units.
RE is taught through a range of creative means to meet the needs of all types of learners. Alongside developing Religious Literacy our curriculum aims to develop the following;
